Built in 1883, this neoclassical building was one of the first stately homes to occupy a chamfered corner in Barcelona’s Eixample district.

In 1992, following a major renovation by architects Bohigas, Martorell, and Mackay, it became Hotel Claris, part of Derby Hotels Collection.

The building is listed in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
